Doy rim style bag or Doy pouch or Round Bottom Doy Pouch is an innovative and popular form of flexible packaging.
Each bag features two vertically sealed edges and a bottom gusset, so the bag stands on shelves and retail displays. The bottom gusset is formed in the shape of a K on either side of the bag, which is why the bags are also referred to as sealed K bottom stand-up pouches. The main difference between this style compared to the Doy Stand Up Pouch is that this pouch sits on a sealed edge/rim. The entire bottom surface of the bag is not in contact with the shelf. It offers a uniform shape to the pouch displayed on the shelf. This pouch is good for medium-density products up to a certain weight per bag.
