A Doy stand up pouch, also known simply as a stand up pouch, Doy pack, or Doy bag, is a versatile and popular form of flexible packaging. The pouch has two vertical sealed edges and a round bottom gusset or a K-style bottom gusset.
These pouches are typically made from multiple layers of flexible films and there are a variety of closure options available. That means they provide excellent protection against moisture, light, and oxygen, extending the product’s freshness and shelf life.
A closable zipper is often used to reseal the pouch for safe storage of remaining products inside the pouch. The bottom gusset allows for the pouch to have a rectangular base. The bottom of the bag is in full contact with the shelf, and it allows for more volume compared to the round bottom stand up pouches.
